Three apprehended in Culpeper-Orange abduction and robbery

ORANGE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Three persons of interest have been apprehended in a Wednesday incident that allegedly started with an abduction in Culpeper County and involved a robbery in Orange County. The three were caught in King George County Thursday morning after the sheriff’s office there got a hit on an automated license plate reader on a stolen vehicle in that county.

The Orange County Sheriff notes on social media they received an initial call of a robbery Wednesday that had occurred in their jurisdiction and further investigation revealed it started wtih an abduction on an individual at the Walmart on James Madison Highway in the Town of Culpeper around 10:30 a.m. The victim was leaving when two adults entered that vehicle and ordered them to drive to a residence in Orange County. The individuals stole an undisclosed amount of cash and property from that residence and were last spotted in the Town of Orange before the Thursday morning apprehension…
