CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The Charlottesville Litter Pickers, a community-organized clean-up group, plan to clean up an abandoned encampment site along the Rivanna River next week.
The clean-up event will take place on September 20, in collaboration with the Rivanna Conservation Alliance. Dick says the clean-up effort will involve heavy lifting and hiking in order to remove the waste from the area.
