ELKTON, Va. (WHSV) – On Friday, the Elkton Area United Services team cut the ribbon in front of their newly renovated Thrift at Heart store to signify a historic moment in their more than 50-year history as an organization.
It’s been a dream for EAUS and its executive director, Billie Jo Dofflemeyer, to house all of their collective services in one spot rather than different locations across Elkton.
Now, with the thrift store finally being under the same roof as the Food Pantry and other services, Dofflemeyer and the EAUS team’s dream has finally come to fruition…
