Birth Expo supports families and builds community in Charlottesville

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – For its third consecutive year since the pandemic, the ‘Healthy Birth Healthy Baby’ Expo worked to connect families with resources supporting pregnancy, parenting, and their babies.

“This event is a reminder that there is still a village,” said Laura Salvatierra, supervisor of parental education and support at Sentara’s Martha Jefferson Hospital. “These organizations are the village that are here to support local families.”
