CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Good morning. The work and school day is getting off to a rather cloudy start. We’ll see mostly cloudy sky today, with a few showers later this afternoon into tonight as a stalled boundary to our east remains in place. Meanwhile, Hurricane Humberto is a major storm, a few hundred miles ssw of Bermuda. It’s moving northwest, and will eventually head northeast away form the coast. Tropical Storm Imelda, is about 130 northwest of the Bahamas. It is expected to move northeast and remain over the Atlantic ocean. A few showers may develop across our region tonight into early Tuesday. Under a half inch of rain will be possible. We’ll keep you updated. Have a great and safe day !
