Florida State fell 46-38 to Virginia in a double-overtime thriller on Friday. During the game, Seminoles wide receiver Squirrel White was involved in a frightening incident when Virginia fans rushed onto the field.
The moment quickly went viral and even sparked false rumors about White being seriously hurt. However, reports confirmed he escaped without life-threatening injuries.
Later, a video showed Virginia defensive back Donavon Platt jumping on top of White and teammate Ja’Son Prevard, seemingly anticipating the crowd surge.
