RICHMOND Va. (WVIR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation is reminding drivers and pedestrians to be extra cautious as shrinking daylight hours create dangerous conditions on roadways.
According to VDOT, pedestrian fatalities have surged 43% in Virginia since 2020, with more than 1,300 occurring across the state in the past decade.
