WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) – A man and woman were arrested in recent days following an investigation into an incident involving a firearm being placed in a student’s backpack at William Perry Elementary School in September, according to Waynesboro police.
The Waynesboro Police Department’s investigation into the incident led to the arrest of Christopher Richard Cook and Crystal Monique Harris, who were both taken into custody without incident. Cook was arrested Friday by WPD, while Harris was taken into custody Sunday in Albemarle County.
