Gordonsville barn fire kills horse

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A Tuesday night barn fire in Gordonsville resulted in the death of a horse, according to a release from Albemarle County Fire Rescue. Four ponies were rescued from the structure in the 6900 block of Louisa Road by bystanders.

ACFR received a report of a fire at approximately 8:23 p.m.

“The first fire suppression apparatus arrived on scene approximately 15 minutes later to discover a barn on the property fully engulfed,” the statement said…
