Good morning. The work and school day is getting off to a rather chilly start. We’ll see mostly cloudy sky, and a few showers south of Charlottesville. A northeast wind will increase as well. We are tracking a developing storm to our west. As it tracks east, showers will move in Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday. An inch or so of rain will be possible. Conditions will clear Friday into the weekend. Meanwhile, Hurricane Melissa, is a major category 5 storm, with 175 mph wind. It’s located just south of Kingston, Jamaica, and will make landfall later today. It will continue to track north towards Cuba, the Bahamas, and eventually Bermuda over the next several days.
