HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – A video made its rounds on social media of a Harrisonburg mother being ‘aggressively detained’ Monday morning by federal agents while taking her daughter to school.
The daughter of the detained woman shared on Facebook that her mother was asked multiple times to step outside of the car during a stop on North Valley Pike, and to present her work permit, license, and registration.
She said her mother has been in the United States for over 20 years, but when she asked the agents why she was being stopped, they never gave a reason.
However, in the video the agents ultimately arrested her, which the daughter claims was because the agents asked the mother to recite her social security number, but because she has jut received it, she had not memorized it and was unable to tell them…
