ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – After 23 years with Albemarle County Fire Rescue, 40 on the job, and six total decades firefighting, Chief Dan Eggleston’s final was Friday, October 31.
During his time with the department, Eggleston was known as a changemaker, in what he said is a profession dedicated to tradition.
