HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – On Saturday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the RHSPCA will host a free Outdoor Cat Supply Distribution event at its shelter, located at 2170 Old Furnace Road in Harrisonburg.
At the event, attendees can receive free warming totes and winter-care resources for outdoor cats including tips on sheltering, feeding, water access in freezing weather, choosing safe bedding, and protecting cats from extreme conditions. RHSPCA team members will be on-hand to answer questions about the Community Cat Program, provide guidance on best practices for caring for outdoor cats, and distribute supplies to help these animals stay safe and healthy during winter.
Alternative pick-up for warming totes and supplies will be available at the RHSPCA front desk during regular business hours November 10–14 for those unable to attend the event…
