Consulting group study finds Albemarle County police and fire departments understaffed

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) -Studies by an emergency services consulting group found that Albemarle County fire and police departments are understaffed.

The report said Albemarle Police need “at least three to four” more patrol officers per shift to adequately serve the community.
