HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -Workers at the Port Republic Starbucks in Harrisonburg announced on November 14th their petition to unionize with Starbucks Workers United.
Starting on one of the company’s popular campaign days, Starbucks workers in over 40 cities began the Red Cup Rebellion, with over one thousand baristas participating in an unfair labor practice strike.
On Saturday, workers and community members gathered at the location for a demonstration, saying they were ‘fighting for a better workplace.’…
