ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) -Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) is expanding access to free preschool through new Head Start funding awarded to the United Way of Greater Charlottesville. The grant is allowing the division to significantly increase the number of children who can enroll in its existing early learning program.
“This program is really important,” said Jason Grant, ACPS Chief Communications Officer, who stepped into the role in October.
