On Sunday, November 17, 2025, Albemarle County Police arrested 19-year-old Asiyus S. Langhorn of Dillwyn, Virginia, after a vehicle pursuit. The incident began at about 11:22 p.m. near Seminole Trail and Airport Acres. Officers stopped Langhorn for failing to maintain his lane. Police saw a firearm and an extended magazine in the vehicle. Langhorn then drove away northbound on Seminole Trail.
During the pursuit, officers saw Langhorn throw the firearm from the car. The vehicle crashed near Briarwood Drive. Police took Langhorn into custody without further incident.
