HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – Richard Moore will spend nearly seven years in federal prison after a sentencing hearing in the Western District of Virginia federal court.
Moore pleaded guilty to federal tax crimes back in January 2025. Since he pleaded guilty, his sentencing hearing had been delayed several times before Nov. 13.
After a pre-sentencing report was made and presented to judge Elizabeth Dillon, she ordered Moore to spend 80 months in federal prison and he must pay over $3 million in restitution…
