VERONA, Va. (WHSV) – Formerly known the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center, the Staunton Augusta Waynesboro Animal Shelter officially opened its doors Nov. 1 in Verona.
Shelter Director John Gilbert said both staff and animals have been able to settle in. The nonprofit ‘Friends of Staunton Augusta-Waynesboro Animal Shelter’ is also helping support the new shelter.
