With plans Medicare dropping for 2026, JABA urges enrollees to review coverage

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Medicare open enrollment is closing fast, and time is running out to make sure your prescription coverage still works for you.

The Jefferson Area Board for Aging, or JABA, is offering free, unbiased Medicare counseling to help people review their Part D plans.

JABA says it has helped nearly 3,000 people save a combined $4.4 million on prescription costs…
