The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that seriously injured a juvenile.
The shooting took place shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 on Ox Road in Stuarts Draft, a press release said. The victim was shot with a handgun and sustained a wound to the back shoulder area.
The juvenile was taken by the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad to Augusta Health and was later flown by Life Guard 12 to UVA Health in Charlottesville for further treatment, the release said…
