Richmond, VA – Drivers across central and eastern Virginia are being advised to use caution tonight as freezing fog is expected to develop after midnight, followed by a chance for light snow Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Wakefield.
Forecasters say there is high confidence in subfreezing temperatures overnight, but only moderate confidence that fog will form. If it does, the NWS warns it could lead to a light glaze of ice on bridges, overpasses, and untreated roads between midnight and 9 a.m. Sunday.
