CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Activist group Indivisible Charlottesville is launching a monthly initiative to give back to the region’s mutual aid organizations.
The “Dine to Donate” series will partner with Charlottesville restaurants for a day of giving, donating a portion of sales made on Dine to Donate days to area non-profits.
“At a time of economic strain and political division and growing community need, it’s important to come together as a community and support one another,” said Jillian Griffiths, volunteer event coordinator for Indivisible Charlottesville. “We’re making sure we’re taking care of our neighbors and helping to provide them with the resources and comforts that they need to thrive.”…
