Charlottesville, VA – The National Weather Service in Baltimore/Washington has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Augusta, Nelson, and Albemarle counties, including the Central Virginia Blue Ridge, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

Forecasters expect 1 to 3 inches of snow, with locally up to 4 inches possible along higher elevations of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Snow will move in during the early morning hours Monday and taper off through the afternoon…
