Albemarle Charlottesville jail breaks ground on $50M renovation

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail officially broke ground today on a renovation project.

Critics said conditions inside the jail are inhumane. Fixing that officially starts now and comes with a $50 million price tag.
