Covenant School first graders bring Christmas tree to cancer center

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Sentara Martha Jefferson’s Cancer Center received special visitors Wednesday, December 17, as first graders from the Covenant School brought a Christmas tree to patients undergoing treatment.

The students hand-made pink and silver decorations with a nutcracker theme, hoping to bring holiday cheer to patients getting cancer treatment.
