The Charlottesville Area Community Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for those negatively impacted by inequitable systems across the Charlottesville, Virginia, region, so it can be a region in which everyone can belong, participate, contribute, and thrive.
The foundation invites applications to the Bama Works Fund. Established by the Dave Matthews Band, the fund will award grants of up to $10,000 in support of community initiatives from organizations working to benefit the City of Charlottesville and the Virginia counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange.
