CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Retirement became the start of a new mission in a war zone Doctor Jeffrey Young.
The former University of Virginia trauma surgeon thought retirement would slow him down. Instead, it sent him to Ukraine, where he helped train doctors and provide medical aid amid ongoing conflict.
