Virginia zoning laws may limit affordable housing options, report suggests

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Zoning laws across Virginia could be limiting affordable housing solutions as costs continue to rise for families, according to new data from the National Zoning Atlas.

The report suggests allowing multiple housing units on single plots could help address the housing shortage affecting Virginia families.
