Many steps are required to bring a potential residential development from an idea to a space where people can live.
The Piedmont Housing Alliance cleared two hurdles on January 18, 2022 when City Council approved a rezoning of seven acres of land at Park Street Christian Church to “planned unit development” as well as a critical slopes waiver. The goal at 1200 Park Street is to build an additional fifty units on the property.
