The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a heist from a local jewelry store, and losses were reported to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, court records show.
Following a report concerning a break-in on Dec. 1, a deputy was called to The Velvet Case, located at 54 Rowe Road in Augusta County just outside the Staunton City limits.
