CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Good morning. Happy New Year. We’ll see partly sunny sky, and breezy conditions today. A cold front will advance across the region this morning. A few flurries may be possible. A northwest breeze will cool temperatures into the 20s by tonight. The cold front will stall to our south through Saturday. An area of low pressure will develop along the front. Clouds and possible rain and snow showers will be on tap during the day Saturday, especially south of Charlottesville. Expect pleasant, and near seasonal conditions Sunday. A major warm up will move into the region early next week. Have a great and safe holiday !
