FISHERSVILLE, Va. (WHSV) – Augusta Health welcomed the first baby delivered at the hospital in 2026 just after midnight on New Year’s Day.
Thomas Michael was born at 12:22 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and measuring 21.25 inches. He is the second child of his parents Katelyn and Alex of Stuarts Draft, and his middle name, Michael, honors his late great-grandfather, according to an Augusta Health release.
