CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Bank of America is donating $15,000 to both Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in an effort to provide support for families facing food insecurity.
Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Chief Philanthropy Officer Karen Ratzlaff says the connection between Bank of America and the food bank is Strong.
“They’ve been big supporters for a long time actually, both in donations of money, but also of time. We’ve had Bank of America employees volunteer with us as well,” Ratzlaff said. “Yes it’s a big company, but the local folks live and work here and want to see a better community and they contribute to the food bank to help achieve that.”…
