HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – A woman was taken to the hospital Friday after officers with the Harrisonburg Police Department were dispatched to the scene of an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers responded to the report at the 7-Eleven at the corner of South High Street and Erickson Avenue in Harrisonburg. A female victim was injured outside the city and drove to the convenience store for assistance. HPD, as well as fire and rescue personnel, responded and the injured woman was taken to Sentara RMH for treatment.
