HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – Another round of some light snow is on the way Tuesday evening.
The afternoon will only feature some scattered flurries and few lighter snow showers with minimal coverage. Turning more scattered into the evening. It’s possible a few rain drops could mix in, but most areas should be cold enough to support all snow.
TIMING:
A few light scattered show showers starting in the early to mid afternoon. This continues into the evening, and most will be out of the area shortly after midnight. This is going to be pretty quick and short lived.
Any light amounts will create slick roads, with ground temperatures still frozen from previous snow/ice events and Arctic cold. Bridges and overpasses will turn slick fast especially as the sun sets. Plus anything that falls and melts initially Tuesday afternoon, can ice over as temps drop into Tuesday night…
