GREENE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – Ruckersville Elementary School will host its annual Science Night on Thursday, February 5, featuring more than 100 student-led presentations.
The event, described as one of the biggest ever, will transform the school into a hands-on science lab. Students will demonstrate projects covering topics from the solar system to electric circuits to ocean life and living systems.
“For the past two years, we have had a Science Night here, but every year it has grown exponentially,” said Regina Hissong, principal at Ruckersville Elementary. “The kids know what to expect now. And this year, we’ve had over 100 kids sign up to come and share their research and their investigations that they designed themselves.”…
