CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The City of Charlottesville is reminding business owners about upcoming deadlines for business licenses.
This year, the city has transitioned into a fully online system for filing and payment for business licenses. Those filings are due by March 2, and late filings may be subject to penalties.
“We’re getting closer to March 2nd and we’re noticing that a lot of folks have still not filed, and so I don’t want people to get into a position where they’re late,” said Todd Divers, Commissioner of the Revenue for the City of Charlottesville. “I think people will like it, a lot of people are using it, but we need more folks to use it.”…
