CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Charlottesville Police are investigating comments on a recent post about a school walk-out protest.
CPD had posted on social media about traffic concerns around the protest that took place Monday, and some comments on the post are now being investigated as threatening to make sure none of them rise to the level of a crime.
“The post has received numerous comments, some of which have been reported as threatening,” according to a CPD news release. “In the event a comment rises to the level of a crime, it will be handled as any other criminal investigation, and appropriate charges could be filed.”…
