JMU business student owns and operates junk removal service

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – Colin Wright, a northern Virginia native, spends his free time away from school helping people get rid of their unwanted junk through his business, Colin’s Haul’n.

Wright said he found a treasure within other people’s junk. Since high school, Wright has been working on side hustle after side hustle. When he got his pickup truck, he said, his business idea started to develop. Originally, his mom asked him to help a family friend deliver mulch from Home Depot and bring it to their house.

His business came to life once he delivered that mulch. He said the family friend ended up giving Wright $50 for helping them out. This $50 marked the start of Colin’s Haul’n…
