On Tuesday morning, former Ruckersville restaurateur Miranda Durrer-Davis, 39, stood in Greene County Circuit Court in Stanardsville beginning her ordeal, facing eight felony embezzlement counts.
She allegedly stole money from Greene County taxpayers when she didn’t submit monthly meals tax collections to county Treasurer Dawn Lotts Marshall’s office.
Each count carries a possible sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted…
