HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The owner of Strite’s Legendary Donuts on Mount Clinton Pike who was severely injured in a fire-related incident two months ago is finally home.
According to the family’s CaringBridge page, Andrea Dawn, daughter of Carl and Miriam Strite, was discharged from the hospital on Friday, February 20, 2026, after a week of progress including the removal of both oxygen and feeding tubes and the ability to walk without the assistance of a walker.
Friday’s update simply read: “Miracle!!! Andrea is coming HOME!”…
