CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The Piedmont District Baptist Association held its Young, Black, and Blessed Young Moguls Market at Carver Recreation Center on Saturday, February 28, the last day of Black History Month.
The event, now in its third year, brought community members together to support young entrepreneurs who filled the room with booths showcasing crafts, baked goods, and handmade items.
“What we’re doing is introducing our youth to the community that we need to be aware that our youth have creative ideas,” said Ruby Carnes, a youth moderator with the Piedmont District Baptist Association. “They are the future leaders of this country.
