Imagine two and a half centuries of American triumph, anguish, joy, fear, and hope unraveling before you on a grand stage. This March, the Charlottesville Ballet joins forces with Opera on the James to give audiences precisely that, with a two-act multimedia show highlighting major historical moments that have led the nation to modern day. Beginning with the Revolution era, the performance dances through the Civil War, the Civil Rights movement, and the voices of today, ending with a look toward future generations of trailblazers.
