CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The Piedmont Regional Education Program’s Parent Resource Center, in partnership with Piedmont Virginia Community College, held its annual Life After High School Transition and Resource Fair on Saturday, March 7.
The event, which has served families in Central Virginia for more than a decade, is designed to help graduating students with disabilities and their families find support in higher education, the workforce, and at home.
“Wherever you are in the journey, whether your student is in kindergarten or post-high, or your senior year in high school, there are still supports available, and we can help get them connected to the right people,” said Stephanie Hicks, coordinator of the Parent Resource Center. “Everyone deserves a chance to fly.”…
