CROZET, Va. (WVIR) – The new roundabout in Crozet is now open and operating.
VDOT says the overall project still needs some work, but drivers can use the roundabout as intended at the intersection of Crozet Avenue, Rockfish Gap Turnpike, and Browns Gap Turnpike. Route 680, which was closed during construction, is also reopening.
The project replaced a former stop-controlled intersection with a single-lane roundabout. VDOT says the intersection will be less dangerous going forward…
