Albemarle supes set advertised tax rate

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors has set its advertised tax rate for the upcoming budget cycle, marking the highest rate the county can legally adopt this year.

The proposed real estate tax rate remains the same as last year at 89.4 cents per $100 of assessed value. However, with rising property values, the average homeowner is still expected to see an increase in their tax bill.
