CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The suspect police had barricaded himself inside a city home Thursday night into Friday morning had actually fled the scene before police ever arrived.
Kevin Johnson, 44, of Charlottesville, was arrested Friday and charged with domestic assault and battery, unlawful discharge of a firearm within a dwelling, reckless handling of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to a release from the Charlottesville Police Department. Johnson was also served with a number of outstanding warrants, according to CPD.
