CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – A day after news broke that the Federal Aviation Administration is closing airspace around Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport on Friday night for “VIP movement” associated with the U.S. Secret Service, it remains unclear who the VIP will be.
29News reached out to Albemarle County Police, Charlottesville Police and Virginia State Police to ask what they are preparing for Friday evening. Each agency suggested directing questions about road closures and security to the White House.
