CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – A major study is changing how doctors prevent strokes, especially in people who do not know they are at risk.
Researchers with UVA Health studied patients with narrowed arteries in the neck, called carotid stenosis, which can block blood flow to the brain.
